UTDesign welcomes Olsson team

On Thursday, January 18th, UTDesign welcomed the Olsson team, a full-service engineering firm, to their studio space for an insightful collaboration. The Olsson team, which consisted of Christian Evans, Katie Hertel, and Stephen Von De Kieft, engaged in a firsthand exploration of the UT Design studio’s innovative projects through a detailed walkthrough provided by the UTDesign team. Both teams then convened for a brief yet impactful meeting to discuss the transformative nature of the UTDesign Capstone and EPICs programs, highlighting the intersection of creativity and engineering that defines UTDesign’s program success.

This session created a deeper understanding of each other’s perspectives, exploring potential collaborations and mutual insights. Overall, the visit proved to be a meaningful exchange, strengthening the ties between UTDesign and the Olsson team and laying the foundation for future collaborative endeavors in the realm of engineering and design.
