On June 19, 2020, UTDesign sponsored the month of June’s Tech Titans Industry Lunch. The event, held virtually, featured Kaushal Amin, CTO of KMS Technology. Amin delivered a talk on “Maintaining communication without another annoying virtual meeting.”
KMS Technology has offices both in the U.S. and in Vietnam, so the company has been at the forefront of managing remote teams for over 11 years. While Amin shared his team’s experience with remote work from a pre-pandemic perspective, he discussed that there was still much to be learned about working with virtual teams.
Amin’s Tech Industry presentation focused on how some companies have easily transitioned into the virtual world, while others have struggled to rapidly understand this new way of connecting brought on by COVID -19. Amin led a discussion on how to leverage digital technology to improve online meetings and make virtual connection engaging for both employees and clients.
