UTDesign Capstone sponsored the January Tech Titans Industry Luncheon.

January’s Tech Titans Tech Industry Luncheon, presented by UT Dallas and UTDesign Capstone, featured Pamela Arora, senior vice president, information services and chief information officer at Children’s Health. She oversees systems and technology, health information management, and healthcare technology management and support at Children’s Health. During her tenure, the organization has received multiple awards, designations and certifications. Children’s Health earned the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) Grace Award in recognition of excellence in health information management, which is at the forefront of the industry-defining work at the organization.

Arora shared her expertise on maintaining safe data flows across the continuum of care, which identified the need to extend care for the North Texas community, and how to approach care extension by using meaningful data and electronic medical records. The impact of Children’s Health within the community has contributed to the continued improvement of care. It has focused on the advancement of electronic medical records (EMR), interoperability and virtual health to broaden its reach.
