UTDESIGN SPONSORS AUGUST 2020 TECH TITANS INDUSTRY SERIES

 

The August Tech Industry Luncheon virtual presentation, sponsored by UTDesign, featured Tony Scallion, MS.,M.Ed, CEO of REDHOUSE Virtual Education, Edmond Maurin, head of sales at Minsar, J. Bradley Snyder, founder of Radical Galaxy Studio, and was moderated by Microsoft HoloLens Demo Champ Dean Jones.

The focus for this month’s event was – “How deep learning artificial intelligence will help hologram technology find practical applications.” Dean Jones led the panel discussion on practical applications of Mixed Reality Technology Microsoft HoloLens in various industries before diving into deep learning AI. The panel of experts from around the world presented inspiring examples of their work and showcased their remarkable advanced hologram technologies they developed and the variety of ways they can be used as building blocks to provide users an amazing and enhanced experience.

The fascinating Tech Industry presentation also focused on how these companies are applying AI, MR, and hologram technologies to increase sales, improve civilian and military combat health care, help better educate students, improve entertainment and digital gaming and dramatically represent architecture and real estate. The presentation concluded with a fireside chat live Q&A.

Event attendees were treated to “bleeding edge” solutions to innovative engineering challenges, which exemplifies the Tech Titans partnership with the UTDesign Capstone Program. UTDesign Capstone achieved an all-time record of 135 Capstone Projects launching this fall 2020 semester, including 70 engineering and 65 computer science projects, involving 650 students eagerly beginning to solve real-world technical challenges for sponsoring companies.
